Adult Programming

A big source of our funding comes through our adult classes. This committee decides on which projects will create good attendance, manages marketing for the classes, and schedules the classes and instructors. If you are interested in being involved in this committee, please contact Andrea Bowens here.

After School Beginners Class

This committee designs and implements the curriculum, training, and tracking for the 3rd-6th grade after school program. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, please contact Marlys Litchfield here.

Finance Committee

As a sustainable non-profit, it is key to find funding that will continue to allow us to grow. The finance committee helps with finding grants, corporate partnerships, and individual donations. They help to create and maintain positive donor relationships. If you are interested in helping on this committee, please contact Kalista Popp here.

Community Outreach

The BCW wants to be present at as many community vendor events and marketplace events as possible! This will help to sell the students work and spread the word about the woodshop. If you want to be a part of attending these events and helping to organize other volunteers for these events, please contact Andrea Bowens here.

Strategic Planning

This committee revisits the BCW's strategic plan to ensure the organization is operating in line with its mission and values. They develop goals and action steps to reach those goals, and they evaluate and report on the progress. If you are interested in this committee, please contact Andrea Bowens here.
